On July 16, 2014, Governor Quinn signed into law an amendment to the Workplace Violence Prevention Act, which grants employers with 15 or more employees the right to secure a workplace protection restraining order against certain persons. The law goes into effect immediately on July 16, 2014.
In July, Matt Maddox defended an internal medicine specialist practicing primary care. Plaintiff asserted the physician was negligent in discharging a patient from the hospital after determining her chest pains were musculoskelatal, not cardiac. A jury returned a verdict in favor of our client.

Quinn Johnston proudly supported CityLink with its 25th annual food collection program known as Stuff-a-Bus, which supports Peoria Friendship House. Our firm’s contribution exceeded 300 food items as well as monetary donations. Attorneys and staff also helped to “un-stuff” the bus.
