Peter Jennetten Invited to Join Claims and Litigation Management Alliance
August 27, 2013 – Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius & Cerulo is pleased to announce that Peter R. Jennetten has been invited to join the prestigious Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. The CLM is a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, Corporate Counsel, Litigation and Risk Managers, claims professionals and attorneys. Through education and collaboration the organization’s goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.
Peter R. Jennetten concentrates his practice on litigation of general personal injury defense in all courts, but increasingly focuses on federal court litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels. Many of his cases involve claims against municipalities and municipal officials, including the defense of law enforcement officers, jail staff, correctional medical providers, municipal attorneys, and government employers. Peter has successfully defended cases involving employment discrimination and retaliation, excessive force, false arrest, and in-custody deaths. He has also litigated commercial cases and other miscellaneous federal claims. Peter’s state court practice includes defense of typical personal injury claims arising from auto accidents, premises liability, animals, and general negligence. Professionally Peter has been honored with the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV® Preeminent, named to the 2008-2013 Illinois Super Lawyers list by Illinois Super Lawyers and Chicago Magazine and been recognized as the Illinois State Bar Association Young Lawyer of the Year (2003) and as Peoria’s “40 Leaders Under 40” (2002).
